Rose Day is celebrated every year on 22 September in memory of Canada's Melinda Rose. It should be noted that Melinda Rose had blood cancer. But due to her courage and will to live, she survived for about 6 months, the special thing is that Melinda Rose never lost hope of defeating cancer in these 6 months.

During this period of time, Melinda wrote her little notes, poems, and e-mails about cancer as well as some of the joys in life and her death on 22 September. World Rose Day is celebrated in memory of the friendship.

It is a day dedicated to instilling hope and enthusiasm in people battling cancer, as almost all cancer treatments involve a lot of physical pain and can leave people with cancer feeling hopeless.
